Our Vision

Our Story

Our journey started in 2009 as a private agri-business with special interest in Karamoja and other regions in Northern Uganda.  In 2023 we decided to expand our activities by establishing AGROMAX foundation

Our Projects

Our projects have been mainly on providing skills to youths, PWDs and refugees in Northern Uganda. AGROMAX supported them in the areas of horticulture, beekeeping, dairy farming, and introduced them to modern farming technology and climate smart agriculture. But we did more... 

SIPYE - Mastercard Foundation, Uganda, 2025-2030

Skilling 60,000 women in 10 districts covering Acholi and Karamoja, training in horticulture, irrigation, open field, poultry and apiary with modern farm practices, business and life skills. 
Budget: 7.9M USD.

Markets for Youth program - GOAL Uganda, 2022-2025

Skilling 28,000 youths in modern farm practices

(including irrigation), business and life skills in

Karamoja, using the Settlement-based Development Initiative approach.
Budget: 2,6B UGX. 

DRDIP - OPM (2020-2023)


Supplying greenhouses and shade houses for horticulture and trees nurseries for refugee and hosting communities. Establishing large scale  open fields and irrigation systems. 
Budget: 2,2M USD.



NUSAF 3 - OPM (2019-2024)

Starting a new model concept created by
AGROMAX for Settlement-Based Development Initiative approach (SBDI); community block-farming; multi-level enterprise development.
Budget: 12.7B UGX.
